If your institution seeks to welcome European students, consider Slovakia – an EU member state since 2004, with a population of 5.4 million and a fast growing economy.

Many young people in Slovakia realize the benefits of an international experience and the global demand for a highly educated workforce, and the number of Slovak students choosing to pursue education abroad has been growing steadily.

Teenagers and their parents seek short and long term study an exchange opportunities abroad with the aim of improving their language skills, experience a different education system, get to know another country and its culture and to become more independent.

Thanks to their good command of English combined with a high level of academic preparedness provided by a broad-based general secondary education system, many Slovak students have succeeded and excelled at universities abroad.

StudyFest provides an excellent opportunity for your institution to meet Slovak students considering studying abroad as well as their parents – often the main decision-makers on matters of education and, typically, its sponsors. With its focus on study opportunities abroad, StudyFest has been the only international education event in Slovakia presenting secondary and higher education institutions from abroad and bringing potential students and parents together with alumni and current students since 2017.

StudyFest is organised by InterStudy, an established study abroad consultancy and agency with more than 25 years of experience. Our event, which is back this year in it’s original in-person format for the first time since the pandemic, will be held in a 4* hotel’s conference facilities in the city centre of the capital of Slovakia – Bratislava.
